Hi thanks for stopping by, We'd love to meet you in person sometime. Harpenden Salvation Army is a neighbourhood church. We're big enough to feel the excitement of a crowd (Typically 50-70 for Sunday Morning Worship (when everybody is there)) and small enough to get to know everyone by name. Most would say we are "just right".
We have a long, respectable history. At the same time you get the feeling of being part of a brand new church. Worship is contemporary and lively in style. The preaching is biblical and down to earth. Our congregation is a friendly blend of people of all ages. You'll see children, teenagers, young and middle-aged adults and seniors too. We are evangelical Christians, doing our best to live according to the principles of Scripture - by God's grace.
Everybody is welcome, and there will always be a smile waiting for you (along with a cup of tea and a biscuit)
