Pastors
In the Salvation Army our Pastors are called Officers. And at Harpenden our Officers are Captain's Ralph and Maxine Walker. They have had nearly 25 year's experience between them as Salvation Army Officers.
They were married in 2001 and have two children, Nathanael aged 9 and Ethan aged 5.
Capt. Maxine comes from Sittingbourne, and as an Officer she has had 4 appointments, firstly she was at the Salvation Army children's home (Mountbatton Centre), then she was the Commanding officer at Wadhurst Society, following Wadhurst she became the Commanding Officer of Minster (Isle of Thanet). After two years at Minster she married Capt. Ralph who joined her at Minster, before in 2006 they moved to become the Commanding Officers of Harpenden.
Capt. Ralph comes from Nuneaton (near Coventry) and as an Officer he has had two appointments. Firstly at Minster (Isle of Thanet) where he joined Capt. Maxine, and then in 2006 to Harpenden where he and Capt. Maxine are the Commanding Officers.
